Time traveller II

Six-frame cartoon. Frame 1: Bespectacled editor sits at her desk and talks on her cellphone. She says, “So you’re expecting a lot of moving parts? Different contributors submitting chapters at different times, multiple levels of review… I see. When were you hoping I’d work on it? Oh, in eight months? Sure, I can do that.” Frame 2: She says, “Good thing you’re booking me so far in advance the project’s complexity is still an abstraction! Frame 3: Another Bespectacled Editor shows up wearing a cape and a belt that reads “2023.” She is holding a rolled-up newspaper. The first Bespectacled Editor, still at the desk, turns to look at her and says, “You’re…” Frame 4: The caped Bespectacled Editor says, “Future you, yeah,” and swats the first Bespectacled Editor in the head with the newspaper, sending her cellphone and glasses flying. Frame 5: The time-travelling Bespectacled Editor changes her belt to read “2024” and activates her device, disappearing. The first editor (now no longer bespectacled) rubs her head where she was swatted. Frame 6: She crawls on the ground to retrieve her glasses and says, “I probably deserved that.”Creative Commons LicenseSee the original Time traveller cartoon from a decade ago.
